Nearly finished

We've been working hard on the place to get it done and rented. We focused on the main room.

The floor's been done inside, the concrete pathway outside, painted the inside, installed new light fittings, lots of things.

Beginning Work

The house is not bad, structurally, but it's been neglected. The first job we started was to remove the kitchen and the interior wall. Steve went round Sunday to get rid of the nasty old kitchen.

Removing the cabinets and appliances revealed a huge amount of rodent shit, piles of dead cockroaches and other such decay.

It came out easily enough with the right number of hammer strokes.

Before...

During

After

I only stood on 5 nails, so that's not bad
